Smithing some glass, ebony, dragon, and jewelry will make you rich as forget.

I did have around 16000 gold but brought lots of spell books from the court wizard in whiterun so i lost around 4000 gold. No matter, once i finish the thieves guild questline, i will start doing small jobs plus i will do some dungeon raiding.

Dungeon raiding is good lol. But seriously, transform iron ore to gold ore using that spell, find some gems, and forge some jewelry. Instant cash.

Homebuilding would be hard to add. You have to deal with Mob spawns, paths, ect.

I just played this for the first time in a while:
I needed to take an amulet from the Dark Brotherhood to Riften so I decided to walk it. I got into a fist fight with some woman and accidentally shouted at some bystanders. I got a bounty on my head and got frustrated. Stopped playing

Skyrim-

dull colors
Extremely boring combat
lasts very long
more customization
much bigger
lots of replay value

Kingdoms of Amalur-

Bright, vivid, beautiful
Tons of ways to fight, multiple attack types, no boring combat
just a BIT of a button masher
big world
not much replay value (but DLC is coming out)
really only 3 player archtypes, but you can mix them (i.e. 1 + 2 or 1 + 3 instead of focusing on directly 1)
