Skyrim: Bake pastries, kills dragons.

My kind of game.
No no no. It goes like this.

Guide to Skyrim

1. Escape Helegen
2. Kill some stuff on your way to Riverwood
3. Kill a Dragon
4. Steal a sweet roll

nice job spoling the game for me roosterwagon now i have no reason to play

There is a new shout that makes sweet rolls for you

But it's wrong.

My computer doesn't weigh 7 shoes just because I say it does.
It was just a statement. The game still operates on real world physics. Three feathers do not weigh the same as 1 mammoth tusk.
The game operates on real world physics, yes; it just doesn't mean real-world measurements have to come into play. It's like how they always get around calling English "English" in works of fantasy, because in that universe there's no England. It's always "Common speech", or "Basic speech", or something to that effect.
Just as there's no England in most works of fantasy, there is no metric system.
My point is that you can call it whatever you want, and it doesn't necessarily have to be compatible with the real-world object.

Im kinda annoyed by all the peopel saying the game is too easy; if it is, then walk around in iron to make a challenge instead of complaining about it on blockland forums.

/hypocrite
You shouldnt have to do things to make the game easier.

If you have the difficulty on hard, it should be hard throughout.

I wouldn't care if you wanted to call the units smargenblooshes cause they aren't real units, but feathers exist in that world, and go by the same name. It makes no sense to call weight units feathers when Skyrim world feathers are light just like their real world counterparts.

1 league = 5.55600 kilometers

League
noun
1.
a covenant or compact made between persons, parties, states, etc., for the promotion or maintenance of common interests or for mutual assistance or service.

And by the way, have you ever dropped a feather on the ground in Skyrim? It plummets like a stone.

Semantics.

Even if you want to call it a feather as an alternative meaning to the word, that doesn't mean 1 mammoth snout weighs the same as 3 feathers.

Because this game doesn't calculate air resistance.

There are some very strange units of measurement out there; there's even a Wikipedia page that lists them. Some are named after real-world objects, some are named after real-world people.
If 1 Newton is being exerted on an object, that does not mean Sir Isaac Newton may as well be sitting on it. It's just a word.

That's because it's named after Newton. Units are given the names they have for reasons. They don't just throw a dart at a random page in the dictionary.

Point taken, but you don't know how the feather would have come into usage as a unit of measurement. Maybe an inside joke between two dockworkers that spread divines-know-how. You need to look at this from a Skyrim standpoint, not a real-world standpoint.

I'm just going to throw this out there and correct me if I'm wrong.

The official measuring system of Nirn is based on the standard ingot. :D

Hey guys
Hearthfire is out.

Stop saying it is out. ._. After the first time, it gets my hopes up it might have been launched on other platforms too...
