Holy stuff they have loving robots, why don't they just send like 80 drones in to 5 planets with nukes and blow the forget out of the goddamn aliens.

Low on nuclear stockpile. And nothing un-friendly enters Covenant space without being destroyed.

What Ew Dowg said but also it would take AGES with FTL/Shuka(?) Drives. The covies also have more advances in SLIPSTREEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAM

Why cant spartans swim?

They can, just not with heavy armor. This should be pretty obvious.

The same heavy armor that allows them to flip an Elephant doesn't allowed them to swim? I don't buy it.

Weight doesn't determine something's ability to float. Density does. Surely they have enough low density things in there and strong motors and stuff to let them swim.

True. But even though SPARTAN III armor is lightweight, look this up: Halo: Ghosts of Onyx pg. 25 (Paragraph that starts with: "In free fall" to the next page. I didn't look this up on purpose. I was re-reading this book again in Language class (For like, the 8th time) and I recalled the info for this question.

Can you just tell me what it says, lol? Having trouble finding it, besides, I don't care if you use sources.

Basically, talks about 2 SPARTAN IIIs who jumped off a cliff to avoid being blasted to hell, drowning, taking off armor to float back to surface, surviving, yadda yadda.

Lucy and ???? Jumped off the ------------ to avoid being vaporised by a giant ------------. Once they landed in the water their suits became water clogged.

What I mean by "why do they send spartans into sabres rather than pilots" is that why are they risking Spartans? They could of easily gotten a pelican for the Spartans to board the ship on the top, reducing the risk for them dying.
Sparatans are enhanced in SERVERAL WAYS. In a training mission John and Company after being enhanced took down a SQUAD(Correct me if im wrong) of a strength enhancing robot they use for heavy lifting outfitted with miniguns(?) outfitted with non lethal ammo. They also broke serveral trainer's hands in HAND to HAND combat. It would have took 1/2/3 Companies of Practical or something Marines to take the hill.

Also, where have you heard marines being able to take an entire ship? Spartan IIs day one with SUPER ARMOR destroyed a Covvy Ship (Can't Remeber the Class) with one casualty. The Casualty had to stay behind due to a suit leak. The Armor didn't have any type of shields.

Dashes provided to be.... ANTI SPOILER!

aircraft carriers are too heavy. cant float
