Author Topic: Grand Theft Auto V :: Trailer RELEASED!  (Read 17134 times)

TRAILER #1

By now, I'm sure you've heard about Rockstar's sneaky reveal of Grand Theft Auto V (or GTAV for short). Let me refer you to the Wikipedia page. Not too much has been confirmed yet, not even a release date. All we have to go on right now is the first trailer that was released on 11/2/11.

I don't know what else to add, there isn't much to go on with this game since the first trailer just came out. Watch the loving trailer and post. :D

This story continues to develop. I'm Caution of the Blockland Forums. Good evening, and goodnight.

Using a similar time scale from GTA III (San Andreas) to GTA IV,
sorry what
Unless I'm misreading this, you are aware GTA III and San Andreas were completely different games?

There was GTA II, then Vice City, then Vice City Stories, then San Andreas.
Not sure if Vice City Stories was after San Andreas though. It wasn't very well known. There's probably ones inbetween that I didn't mention.

EDIT: I am waiting for GTA V as well, I hope its in a country area like San Andreas, that's what made it so popular. I loved the trees and the vast distances between completely different cities, not to mention the towns inbetween. San Andreas was very well mapped, and I hope GTA V is as well. Hopefully similar in that aspect.

Grand Theft Auto
Grand Theft Auto II
Grand Theft Auto III: general violence and crime
Grand Theft Auto: Vice City: alleged ethnic discrimination
Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas: love minigame
Grand Theft Auto IV: drunk driving
Chinatown Wars: drug dealing minigame

Theres my list.

^ Pretty much sums it all up.

Next time it's dongslapping the cops.

What I'm wondering is if they're gonna bring back Niko.

I feel like they should bring back London, or a London-like setting.

You saw nothin'.

What I'm wondering is if they're gonna bring back Niko.

Did they do that with the other games?

I feel like they should bring back London, or a London-like setting.
I want this, A fallout london game would be even more amazing.

Fallout's been always about patriotism, and half of the dark humor comes from the irony of such a proud country crushed like everywhere else by nuclear war.

I hope they bring back car customization like they had in GTA San Andreas and bring back planes/more helicopters as well

but i'm going to take a guess that this is just wishful thinking and they're going to make it a serious game with no need for all that...

which is why i'm buying Saints Row The Third

Car customization would be awesome, the garage's random color is stupid.

Did they do that with the other games?

Well, no. But he was a good character, and one of the better ones in my opinion. It would be a good thing to bring him back.

The diversity of all the characters in IV was unique to the series, seeing as their personalities conformed to what borough of Liberty City they lived in, they were impacted by the society.

I hope they bring back car customization like they had in GTA San Andreas and bring back planes/more helicopters as well
My guess as to why there weren't flyable planes in GTAIV is because it took place in New York.
