Author Topic: Steve Jobs is dead.  (Read 26999 times)

I don't think computers would be far behind without him, If anything they might be ahead of what we have now because we might not have gotten stuck with the gui stuff.

I'm talking floaty csi stuff.

I'm actually kinda glad he's dead. Maybe their products will fall to a reasonable price.
Glad a man died because you are a cheap starfish?

That's reasonable.

Steve had nothing to do with the prices you imbecile. The marketing departments handle the prices, as well, Apple products are high quality and polished (Well except for the fact that the iPhone still doesn't use Gorilla Glass, which is loving stupid) and they need to cover costs for parts. Just because you can't afford it doesn't mean the prices they're charging are wrong, seeing as how they can still sell millions of run of the mill laptops for over $2,000. Personally, I think the aesthetics alone are worth the price.

I'm not cheap, Im actually typing from iPod right now. If you had taken the extra minute to read the rest of the page you would know this by now.

Apples products are overpriced, people obsess over this stuff since it's all new and shiny, when it's actually just as good as other brands.

Considering more than 80% of America and most of the world knows who Steve Jobs is, and much less know Shuttlesworth, it'll be talked about more.
Get over it.
Yeah because more people know about him he's more important.

It's the difference between buying a $500 Rolex and a $10 plastic watch from WalMart. They both tell time, they both last just as long and they both strap around your wrist. The Rolex just looks a whole lot loveier and is made with better parts.

Steve jobs came out with the Apple 1 before bill gates even tried making a computer. Ironicly it was made to play games, much like a sega or a clecovision.

Wow did anybody actually read the last loving page? I told you guys, I own a iPod, I had the chance to buy a iPhone but declined since I already own a iPod (I got a android phone instead since I hadn't gotten a chance to use the android operating system yet)

if they last just as long then they are probably made with similar parts dipstuff.

I'm posting from an iPod right now a tribute to you Steve ;_;

We understand you own an iPod, we get it. You've said it multiple times, yet you fail to realize that it's not hugely relevant. We're saying that the computers are not very over-priced, and VH gave a pretty accurate simile for why they're not over-priced.

Apple stocks are going to plummit...

I like how you completely skipped my argument. I don't give two stuffs if you own an iPod, my point is that you still bought one because it's quality as forget. Quality products with quality updates and quality software are worth their weight in gold.

My stuffty 1999 model truck has lasted just as long as my mom's 2004 model car, but mine is a V4 and hers is a V6.
