You can already do this in v19.  Blockland.exe -noConsole
The console should be hidden by default, with the option to enable it. It looks so much better that way.

If Blockland was converted to Torque3D what problems would it have. Just spit balling here but what would Blockland would look like in Torque3D?

Looks like it is a torque app, the cursor is the default torque one, and RomShelf, another "launcher" by Badspot, was a torque app too.

Hmm... You're right. Well that confuses me, but I withdraw my statement then.

It's useful to see in the background when the game itself freezes up.

Badspot would basically remake the game. None of our previous addons would work, and the build's would probably not work either.

Basically, that's the only type of Blockland 2 that would ever think of existing.

And he isn't running a clean version of Torque, as everyone knows. He's applied countless modifications to work for Blockland specifically. Torque3D would be a clean engine with a different dynamic, can't even make a list of the problems.

it wouldn't look better than opengl

Now that we can have minor updates given out rather quickly, he can start selling the major ones separately as DLC!

We'll still get changelogs about these minor updates, right?
Still waiting on this.

No, because OpenGL is a multi-platform rendering system and is used by both TGE and Torque3D. I already explained this to you a while ago, but you didn't listen.

the only problem i see with it is people have to restart their servers more often

...And why would that be?

unless badspot makes a auto-updater for servers that automatically restarts all servers with the new version.

Except for the builds currently on the server. So for that he would either have to make it "hot-swappable" or he would have to implement Minecraft-ish autosave/-load.

Badspot i have a request: Anti-aliasing
