I decided not to reveal myself. I stood to leave, but a loose brick tumbled and hit the ground. Panicked, I ducked back down.

I catch the anti-venom and quickly apply it to the bite on my arm.
"Thanks, by this time tomorrow I would've been dead." I pulled out the cans of beans I managed to grab before being attacked.
"On the bright side, I found some food. Not much though, but it's something."
