So would this http://pcpartpicker.com/p/qWnd

Have a network card?
Hmmm..
I thought this was a market standard, but apparently they only come with LAN cards initially. I guess I have to buy a wireless card too. :I

Considering he asked if his laptop's hd 5700 was dedicated, yes

why would custom computers magically have wifi? of course you need an adapter ....

well it seems like such a common thing to me. there are lots of people who put their computers in their room, where an ethernet cable can't get. anyway wireless cards aren't too expensive.

We're would that part be on that list?

click "add custom part" at the very bottom

common, but not standard. you have to buy one.

i just restored my older computer, hasn't been touched in about 4-5 or so years.

originally had XP on it, but it never successfully booted. CMOS is also dead. :s
had to boot off a floppy to boot off a USB drive too, if that wasn't bad enough it happened to be USB 1.0.

Looks cold and horrible :c

That feel when you clean your laptop's heatsink and it runs a full 25c cooler.

I just dusted out my computer to try to fix some buzzing that's been going on. It didn't help. I think it's my hard drive possibly? It seems like it's making the case vibrate. Any suggestions?

edit: this is the area that's buzzing. This would be the hdd, correct?

None of you mentioned how loving hard it is to find where all the wires go and tidy them up properly, holy stuff. Anyway, got everything in except the GPU which im doing tommorow as i can't stare at any tiny words on the mobo any longer, eugh.

Yeah, that's a hdd or a optical drive, can't see the front of your case so i don't know.

unplug your hard drive(s) and start your computer, if the noise stops then you'll know what the problem is
