Does it matter that I have dual monitors (1600x900 each)?

Also, would performance of the gpu i could have increase significantly if I payed say $300 rather than $250?

EDIT: Also, I prefer not to overclock, so I'd like the card to have a good 'starting point;

If you're going to pay $300. Get a 6970:

Best card for the price.

Really good performance.

Are you going to be running the monitors separately? Or Eyefinity?

I'm currently just using the windows 7 multi monitor support feature. Is eyefinity better or something?

EDIT: I've also heard that it's possible to have two gpus for OVER 9000 POWER. Is this something worth considering? (the new one + the one I currently have)

Eyefinity just means you're turning two screens into one. I do not recommend using it on two monitors due to the fact you will have a split in the middle.

Multi monitor works best.

But, now on-topic, for the money, the 6970 is your best bet.

A lot of people are claiming the fans are quite noisy. Should I be afraid, very afraid?

EDIT: Looking to also get a third monitor (I get hard for expensive computer stuffs...), anyone know what's up with the pricing here: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&DEPA=0&Order=BESTMATCH&N=-1&isNodeId=1&Description=s201hl&x=0&y=0

I don't care about fans
so long as I have headphones, that is

Really, your speakers should drain out the sound. Or your case fans. I can barely hear my XFX HD 6870 fan, because i have only three Antec 300 case fans running at Medium, overcoming the fan noise. They're not that loud. And there are a lot of noisiness reviews on the card I got.

Although, I gotta say, the Antec 300 has AMAZING airflow. With only 3 fans (4, if you include PSU fan) my PC becamse a portable air conditioner for my room lol.

NOTHING WAS HERE, but I still need help with my Skullcandy Earbuds. Their off-center in Sound production, and one of them produces a sort of "Wet, Scritchy" sound with the audio being played

I wouldn't listen to most of the comments on newegg, a lot of people don't know stuff. Try looking up some video reviews

There's no fix for those. I had those problems with my previous set of earphones. Both of them blanked out on one end and then evenually the wires broke.

God damnit these earbuds arent even 2 weeks old.

I kinda like to have loud fans. Makes it sound like some type of jet plane.  :cookieMonster:

Your problem is that they're skullcandy earbuds.
My panasonic ones lasted 2 years before a loving dog (it was teething at the time) got to them, and ripped the left earbud out of its socket. They were $10, but I guess that's my punishment. I scarcely used them myself, but my brother used them a lot longer than me.

My laptop would appear to be spontaneously combusting.

Why arent your fans running?
