Also, sadly i had lock-ups and crashes at those settings, so I lowered to 950 and 1100. TIps?

Yes, unless you have a special motherboard with Wi-fi capability. Which most do not.

there is no actual network card unless you unless you've got one plugged in your PCI-E slot

That second one looks good. I'd always choose a PCI one over a USB one, for multiple reasons. Signal would be better, quality, can't loose it, and USB is slower.

Ok, cool. I thought I was going to need one (we're moving) but I learned we're getting cable/using ethernet so I won't need it any more. Still nice to know that though.
