why wouldn't you...? unless you're talking about if it has the necessary ports that a television requires.

yeah that

yeah that
well the case doesn't really decide that, all visual stuff (HDMI, DVI) is the GPU and USB ports and stuff like that is on the motherboard. what are you going to connect to the TV with anyways? HDMI?

HDMI yes

HDMI yes
then all you need is a GPU with a hdmi port i believe. if you dont feel like getting one of those i think theres a DVI-HDMI adapter you can buy.

I'll probably get this one.

Compatible with Linux C:
Dude, USB wireless adapters fail miserably.
If you're trying to do network-intensive tasks like uploading files and such, get a PCI Wireless card.

So Multiple Cores + High Clock Speed + Badass Architecture = "God" Processer?

also whats end of the spectrum is the best Sandy Bridge Processor? i3, i5, or i7?

I wouldn't call any architecture with over a thousand useless instructions for video processing (MULTIMEDIA) from the 90s badass :cookieMonster:

My Macbook has been glitching lately.
It's been flashing black across the screen, which stays for about a quarter second, and occasionally it freezes up.

Specs:
  • Model Name: MacBook Pro
    Model Identifier: MacBookPro3,1
Processor Name: Intel Core 2 Duo
    Processor Speed: 2.4 GHz
    Number Of Processors: 1
    Total Number Of Cores: 2
    L2 Cache: 4 MB
    Memory: 4 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM
    Bus Speed: 800 MHz

And more specifically, my video card specs:
NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT:
  • Chipset Model: GeForce 8600M GT
    Type: GPU
    Bus: PCIe
    PCIe Lane Width: x16
    VRAM (Total): 256 MB
    Vendor: NVIDIA
Also what I have running:
Google Chrome
Kerbal Space Program

Overclocked Intel SB-E 6-core, i7-3960X.

It goes from worst to best, i3, i5, i7.
Although i3s quite honestly are on par with the highest Phenoms.

I must admit, I'm not a Mac expert.
It could be video drivers not responding. Do you have the latest video drivers?
Although TBH I'm not even sure if Mac's have video drivers, sorry.

What good video tutorials do you suggest? I've watched the newegg ones and they were really good.
