From my experience;

I bought a Samsung 64GB SSD (because it came with Arkham City for free) for only $100, when SSD prices dipped a bit during the HDD price spike from the flooding in Southeast Asia.

It makes your OS a lot faster.  I can literally clock my computer at less than 15 seconds in booting up, and it's pretty much an instant log-in and Chrome goes in a snap and immediately is ready to browse.  Battlefield 3 used to take forever to load and now it's pretty much only around 15-20 seconds (which is a lot better compared to off the hard drive, it took a lot longer).
Is yours running on boot or SRT/caching/hybrid?

Just boot, my mobo doesn't support SRT.  It's an EVGA SLI-LE, LGA1366 and an Intel X58.

What is the model of the card?
Radeon HD 4550.  Crap, yes I know but I can't really get a new one right now.

Well, due to the fact that I've been keeping my processor connected to my heatsink sitting on my desk, my cat managed to get up there and knock it off the table, bending some pins that I can't seem to fix without bending others. Looks like I'm due for a new CPU. I needed an upgrade anyway, it was one of the first Phenom II X4's that actually came in AM2+ with no DDR3 support and it's been known to run much hotter than the other Phenom II's when overclocked.
So... I don't know about the new Zambezi processors, I was thinking of getting the 6 core Zambezi at 3.3GHz. Should I get this or a Phenom II X4 3.2GHz? I plan on using this for gaming.
Or should I get the AMD Phenom II X6 1055T 2.8GHz and overclock it?

Well APB Reloaded is not very hard to run, so like I've said above, the $300 one with a GPU like this would be able to run it well.

Any idea of the other games you want to play?

GTA IV, Blockland, Minecraft and APB Reloaded would be the main (Sorry for taking long to reply, I was banned)
Also I'm from the UK if that makes any difference.

If I buy 4x2 8GB DDR3 1600 quad channel kit can I use it as 2 dual kits? Because the motherboard I have in mind will not be supporting quad kits.

GTA IV can be very demanding however do you want to run it maxed out?

X channel (dual, triple or quad) is all just marketing. The DIMMS are all identical.

Thuban I think would be the best bet.
Look at benchmarks of Thuban compared to a FX-6. See what you would prefer.

Download MSI Afterburner and create a custom fan profile so it's at about 25% up to 50% load, then at 50% load the fan speeds up to 100% gradually, so at 70% load the fan is 100% or similar.

Nope, I would be happy running it the lowest possible settings.

Kill your cat.
Or use one of those small eyeglass screw drivers to FIX THAT forgetER.
