It's really nice.
What are you planning to do with it?

You won't be maxing out every game but it's pretty good. What do you plan on playing?

TF2, Minecraft, Portal 1 and 2, Half Life 2 (somehow I've still not purchased that), and GTA IV (well aware that the game is needy, not expecting to max it) and uh, umh

(i'm a very boring person)

You'd be able to play most of these games on high/very high. Possibly with some AA.

I can play with or without AA. Sometimes the UI looks crisper without, and sometimes the game looks "out of focus" with it.

Maybe it's just the stuffty, 30 buck card I have now.

Is the power header connected properly?
I have the PSU hooked up to all the components, and I have the little cable things from my box connected to my motherboard.

You won't have any problem running all of those, but you will have to turn the settings down a bit on GTA IV.

How big of a jump is it from a 5450 to a 6670?

The little cable thingies, are they connected correctly? Sounds like they aren't.

This.

Pretty decent.

2x2 DDR2 1066 running in dual-channel mode or 8GB DDR2 800 single channel?
I'm not sure if I should pull these unmatched sticks out.

It was the RAM. I refitted it multiple times and now it works.

But now there's a bigger issue: I get a STOP 0x7B hard drive failure blue screen when I start the computer, it freezes in the middle of the little Windows 7 startup animation thing. From the info I've gathered, it seems as if I can  only fix this by using a Windows 7 install disc (which I can't find) or change some settings in BIOS (which I've tried and nothing works).

I used my old harddrive from my other computer, is it because it's having issues with the new motherboard?

Shouldn't be.
What's the error code in full?

I don't understand. 8GB > 2x2GB, but will it be better that way? hmm

STOP 0x0000007b (0xFFFFF88009A9928, 0xFFFFFFFC00034, 0x000000, 0x000000)

is the error code, I believe.

fixed:
I got myself some o' dat Windows 7, my friend had a license lyin' 'round. I'm posting from my new comp right now ~~
I think the issue was that there were some important harddrive files missing.
