I need some people who know monitor stuff to find a good monitor. 20-23 inches or whatever the standard monitor size is, I want it to be a nice, non off-brand, and full-res though, those are the only requirements.

no price range?
"full-res?"
what resolution are you asking for? 1920x1080 (1080p)?

I don't know what the conversion is from inches to pixels for 20-23 inch but it's probably something like that.

I have this, would recommend.

It's a little more expensive than that acer but trust me, it's beautiful c:

brb getting an ssd but i already have a 2tb hdd
boot ssd? down for it.
It sure as hell is a good investment.  Bought a 64GB SSD.  Enough for Windows, my documents/etc., and GTA4+Civ5 with ~10GB to spare.  Really speeds up boot/shut down too, I don't even leave my computer on if I'm leaving the house anymore because it's so quick.

Here's a link to a cheap custom build you can make for $800 with all the workings, as well as some upgrade options (but to be honest you don't need 16GB of RAM as opposed to 8GB of RAM or a 3TB HDD as opposed to only 1TB).

all damn acer monitors have that happen
this one i'm using now is so dark that dark greys appear black
why does everyone recommend it though i have no clue
maybe this one would be better

This is probably the best you can get.

I would suggest an AOC like the one I have which is this one exact.  I love it so loving much.

I plan personally on buying this.

lovey and sleek huge 24" monitor for only $139.99 Can't get much better.

I'm so glad I bought a HP monitor than an acer one, all the bad things said about them.

First time using System Restore: no restore points while 10GB was wasted for 8 months.
now I can't hibernate windows without reinstalling :(

Acer monitors are amongst the best IMO. Just need to get the good SKUs.

Ethan, when I get my CPU at Microcenter I saw that they had this monitor. Do you think it is a safe bet?
