I'd rather try and just use the 6750 instead of Hybrid CFX and see what happens.

I've made it so every one of my games run throught the 6750, yet it still uses the other one for some games. I've also tried disabling the 6600 one. Everything broke to say the least.

Could you go into the bios and look for some switchable graphics dynamic thing?
I have a HP laptop with intel paired with 7690m and that fixed everything with that issue but you might not have such an option.

I need your guys advice.  I need to buy an external hard drive but I would like one besides usb powered which is what I have now.  But I want one that isn't usb 3.0 and will be the fastest one out there.  I just need one to tell what to look for in a hard drive so when I do end up buying one this summer I know.  It needs to be fast enough to run a sony vegas render to it, record fraps to, record arcsoft showbiz hd pvr recordings to, and pretty much anything video file related.  And it needs to be 1 TB or more.

keep in mind USB3.0 is backwards compatible like 2.0 and 1.1 so you've nothing to lose should you buy one with 3.0
but whatever, i think this should be sufficient

Yeah the prices will drop lots over the summer.  It's still wallet-breaking for some but really it's nice to see.
