Is your wireless network using the n band by any chance? If so you might need to disable n-band in the driver because the driver sucks right now and certain cards can't get online or have limited/slowed connectivity.
How do I do that?

Edit: I temporarily disabled n on the router, then tried connecting, but that did nothing.

this is not true, every card is different. also different people have different airflow/cooling systems
... Pretty sure people will look up the exact same card they have, and not a different one lol. Also, most modern airflow and cooling are the same, so it doesn't factor much.
why the hell not
Because its already overclocked. If you overclock factory overclocked cards, they will lower performance and give artifacts and what not.

lol you don't know what you're talking about

In fact over clocking some factory over clocked cards is beneficial because they have default raised voltage which makes it better to over lock with a higher, stable voltage.

And not all airflow/cooling systems are the same, different number of fans, liquid cooli g,etc.

Seriously I want sources and proof of your information

Hells, you've been giving bad advice, bad help, and false information ever since I seen you start posting frequently in this topic. Please get the forget out
umad?
I hope to god you get banned for this, you're practically saying here that you're purposely giving false information in a horrible attempt to get people to waste money and time.

two identical model of cards can still have differences. not all chips are the same..

you're full of stuff. there are so many different sized cases, fans, fan speeds, cooling liquids, cooling systems, heat outputs, etc etc etc

my factory OC'd 580 that I pushed even farther gives no problem and has a bone to pick with you

stop spewing untrue information, you're a moron. door's that way.

I loving hate that. When I ordered the parts for my PC I was so excited I could barely sleep.

My friend is buying a new computer, his current one has a stuffty processor and a Directx8 card

his budget is $700, what should he get

I'll post details about his specs if needed

I'm gonna be making a computer from this video. Is it a good build? And I would be willing to spend $50 more on the computer to make it even better.

One final question, how well will this run games? I hoping it will be a huge change from my Raedon HD 4200. Hoping I'll finally be able to play Just Cause 2 at a non-microscopic window size. :p
