I SENT THIS LAPTOP TO HP TO GET IT FIXED, AFTER CHARGING ME 300 DOLLARS THEY SENT IT BACK AND NOT TWO WEEKS LATER, MY SCREEN IS HEAVILY TINTED GREEN.
LAST THING FROM HP I WILL EVER BUY.
ALL OF MY RAGE.
better then:
AMD display driver has stopped responding and has recovered.
or even a BSOD saying that the driver failed to recover.
there's a scar on the screen, it's an eyesore but not very noticable.
HP customer support is like geek squad, they claim non existant issues and they TRY to make it real. except that they don't claim it.
so more $$$ to HP.
HP laptops are specifically designed to fail and that's why i didn't buy one.
when my brother got my laptop...
let's just say getting this acer is the best decision i ever made although the HP laptops have better keyboards.
bad feeling touch pad on the HP through 2 days of use, not getting better, just me though.
display driver keeps failing, even through the newer drivers.
another good thing is that the HP COMPUTERS HAVE A BIOS THAT I COULD SWITCH TO FIXED GRAPHICS ON!!!!!
where as the acer does not and i need to flash to a modded bios.
only problem i had with the acer were fixed with restarts.
one being the webcam driver failed to dismount or something and crashed me.
other where the fan failed to continue running and made the laptop hot, still better then the HPs heat lol.
oh yeah that reminds me...
the HP computer heats up like a mother forgeter where as the acer generates some heat under gaming conditions, virtually no heat at all under idle, it's a high profile card vs a low profile card so it's stupid to compare.
in other words, i am glad i didn't get a stuffty HP.
