assuming PCIe x1 slot wireless, maybe 5W on the 5V? those don't take much lol
Okay.
Well, I'll probably order this tonight. One last question. What do I have to do with my Intel drivers and card and stuff?

Is that good or bad?
pretty damn good if you ask me

uninstall them before adding the card or do it after you've installed it in safe mode

It's mid ranged. You could get a far better GPU and that CPU would easily be able to handle it. That GPU is a mid ranged card.

I'm guessing everything except the Rapid Storage, as that sounds like something for my hard drive.

confirmed that the desktop is fixed and i'm almost ready to use it as a development desktop.

now, all i need is 2 things.
more bedroom space and a wireless adapter.

might use this as the wireless adapter: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833166022

you may run into performance issues using a USB 802.11 dongle, and I would personally recommend getting a PCI wireless card

just the processor graphics

Now I can't buy it. My parents won't let me because I'd be wasting $80 if it didn't work. They want to take my computer to the store where I bought it and see if it works.

"OH WE HAVE TO KEEP IT OVER NIGHT FOR A CHECKUP"
"THAT'S $40"

all they actually do is put it there and charge you bullstuff things like "the RAM was degrading so we bought a new one, that's $150" when it's a new RAM card

I would say processor is high-end of midrange spectrum, gpu is low of midrange. Averages a midrange comp even though gpu probably bottlenecks

Isn't a gtx 555 two 550s put together?

i might do this if the usb dongle isn't gonna work for what i do.

i already checked out devc++ and holy stuff how did i have not heard of this before. grammar error intentional

now, what i'm going to use the internet for is downloading needed libraries and sharing stuff between the network so i don't lose my data.

Possibly, I'm having trouble finding info pertaining to that. I did find out that it's pretty much a low-middle range card, although a little more powerful than I first thought. It can handle high resolutions but most game detail would be turned down to medium to maintain an acceptable framerate

Im just trying to see if this would work.
Please tell me if it wouldn't and why.
cpu
motherboard
Graphics card
RAM
Hard drive
CD / DVD
power
case

Somebody go on newegg.ca and find me the best gaming laptop for around $1000. Please .ca and not .com
I would get Mr.Jacksaunt to do this for me but he died or something.
also no acers and no intel graphics cards
