uninstall them before adding the card or do it after you've installed it in safe mode

It's mid ranged. You could get a far better GPU and that CPU would easily be able to handle it. That GPU is a mid ranged card.

I'm guessing everything except the Rapid Storage, as that sounds like something for my hard drive.

confirmed that the desktop is fixed and i'm almost ready to use it as a development desktop.

now, all i need is 2 things.
more bedroom space and a wireless adapter.

you may run into performance issues using a USB 802.11 dongle, and I would personally recommend getting a PCI wireless card

Now I can't buy it. My parents won't let me because I'd be wasting $80 if it didn't work. They want to take my computer to the store where I bought it and see if it works.

all they actually do is put it there and charge you bullstuff things like "the RAM was degrading so we bought a new one, that's $150" when it's a new RAM card

I would say processor is high-end of midrange spectrum, gpu is low of midrange. Averages a midrange comp even though gpu probably bottlenecks

Possibly, I'm having trouble finding info pertaining to that. I did find out that it's pretty much a low-middle range card, although a little more powerful than I first thought. It can handle high resolutions but most game detail would be turned down to medium to maintain an acceptable framerate
