How noticeable would the difference between the 6770 and the 7750 be? If it's worth it, I think I could bump of an extra 20, but I'm tight a on cash. Really tight.
I reupdated my post, I confused the 6870 and 6670 again ;-;
the 7750 is a little better in bandwidth but the 6670 is probably better in gaming, not quite sure how much of an FPS difference though

Alright, thanks. Last question, do you know where you bought your card from for so cheap, or was there a sale going on?

at the time when I bought it, it had free shipping and was $90
pretty good card for gaming but might be able to get a good avg 20 fps or so on bf3 on low-medium settings, haven't tested it on there

Ok guys, I'm thinking about buying a rack mount (or any kind) server to keep things on and to run maybe a blockland server and scripts on. It'd be nice for it to have room for improvement, oh and my budget is 300

Also I've never bought a server before so I have no idea how to use it. So links/help on how to set them up and configure them would be nice

I couldn't find it anywhere for some reason, thanks for the help.

Computer is making noises similar to that of a radiation ticker thing. Anybody know the problem?

Possibly fans, are they backed up? That'll cause a metronome-like ticking.

Could be hard drive, thats not a good sign. But definitely check the fans.

Fans seem likely. I've been testing OC and voltage and cpu temperature has gone up to about 80-90 degrees, more than my laptop can likely handle in terms of fans. But it's a much smaller ticking noise, several times a second type of thing.

How secure are your components? Thinking about the hard drive again, if its not properly secured it might make a rattle. You seem to be describing something that is more likely to be a vibration.

Not quite sure, I haven't unscrewed the case. It seems to be coming from around the disk drive area though, away from the hard drive.

This looks like a good server, what do u guys think?

Also once again, how would you use it in terms of installing an OS/SSHing into it?

quit getting so complicated sheesh

is your radiator hot?

One of my friends had that problem, he decided it was the motherboard. I think he was talking stuff but apparently it was.
