GrumpVille is now established!
you can now warp there! woo

Sweet grumpville is up also this:

This was well worth the damn wait it took 2 silk touch, unbreaking 3 and eff 4 shovels. Along with a lot of dedication..

And I'm giving people a reason to stick around spawn by encouraging them to establish towns and work together. And for the record, spawn is established as a town and it's not permissible to grief the spawn area. people would already have a natural reason to work together if they could fully trust one-another.

Your logic is extremely flawed. The more people strike out on their own and divide into individual houses scattered to all ends of the world, the easier it is for griefers to loot and steal and make you frustrated.  when ever did i claim otherwise?

The most reliable way of stopping the griefers is to get over your anti-social, introverted behavior and work with other people or help me bring more people on to the server so it's not an issue. once again, what is the motivation to work with other people when you aren't guaranteed safety from griefing until you meet all of these requirements? i'd understand this rule if the server had more players, but it does not have enough to justify the rule.

I'm enforcing the grief rule to its full extent by not reimbursing ayx and fire. sorry, i meant "you're not enforcing a no-tolerance griefing rule" Read the rules. The rule is effective, by the way. When their house was looted, they were all alone. Since the attack, other players on the server have helped them rebuild, and they've established a town with all the required elements. only because they don't want to be forgeted over by the rule again. The area is now fully protected against griefing and looting attacks. Wasn't that easy? yeah, or they could just not have to worry about griefing. wouldn't that be easier? if you want more people to live together and near eachother, all you have to do is make it easier for us to trust one-another.

Submitted my registration. Hope you like it. :)

people would already have a natural reason to work together if they could fully trust one-another. A player's ability to trust another player is not my problem.

when ever did i claim otherwise? What's your purpose in debating this with me? To convince me to reverse the rule? Sorry to answer your question with a question, but the answer really lies in your motive for arguing this to such an extent.

once again, what is the motivation to work with other people when you aren't guaranteed safety from griefing until you meet all of these requirements? i'd understand this rule if the server had more players, but it does not have enough to justify the rule. The point is that people have to work for immunity by demonstrating a sense of community. For the longest time, people were guaranteed complete safety from griefing, and I got constant complaints of how easy the server was, and that it wasn't engaging. The simplest way to change that was to put a little more emphasis on community interaction by making the natural world more wild and less safe. And since the change, nobody has fought the rule more extensively than you, so I'm not tempted to change it back, because it's working.

yeah, or they could just not have to worry about griefing. wouldn't that be easier? if you want more people to live together and near eachother, all you have to do is make it easier for us to trust one-another.  Your ability to trust one another is, once again, entirely up to you. I've made it very attainable to get safety from griefing. It's not a hard task, it can be done in a day. Grumpville is a perfect example that I already noted. Also, we don't have a "zero-tolerance" griefing rule. The rule is, and has been since January or so, that players are not protected from looting and griefing outside established towns and cities. It's now been 9 months (roughly) since we've eliminated the no-tolerance griefing rule.

Holy crap dude, that's some claaaaaaay right there.

fair enough. i'd like to add that since i live at spawn i have no reason to oppose the rule; i just don't like it.

Understood. Believe me, if the rule wasn't working and people were being driven away, I would change it.

Zane, did you get that clay from the ocean outside Snowy that Trifax completely drained?

Only like 1% of it was, most of it was swimming a 500 block radius all around my island digging for clay. With a respiration III helmet along with aqua affinity.

is ironforge still an established town?

Zane practically drained all the resources out of the cave systems there, and last time I visited there was an odd glitch with three-block-tall doors (which Zane corrected by destroying them) but idk.

Hey umm Trifax or Mini could you help me find a lost horse of mine? Its a really good horse and I don't want to loose it. It was originally in summerset then I moved it out  along with my other horse after blood dragon griefed the server. To my old base but I accidentally when on the island with the strong hold. So I buried them and wrote down the cords. Some time later and I decided to ride the good horse I buried it too. I was apparently being attacked by so many mobs I did /home and that was before I knew about /return. So I never got to write down the cords I know its on the island with the strong hold but I cant find it could you help me find it?

I'm busy until later tonight, but I'll let you know when I'm getting online.

I don't think it's been active in quite some time, I'll remove it from the warps list and dis-establish it if nobody lays claim and there are no signs of activity.

I'll drop by sometime to take a look at it first, at least.
