I haven't seen your application come in yet, perhaps we're having an issue with the registration system...it's not entirely out of the question.

Hey guys, I want some people to build awesome boats. The spawn is right by a really great little bay, and I think it would look great with some boats in it. They'll be on full display to people who join, if that's any incentive.

By the way, water physics was changed in 13w03a for Minecraft 1.5. When you bucket out of the middle of deep water, it no longer leaves annoying water flow that's hard to fill in - it automatically refills. So the bay should be safe outside any protected area after that.

They never want lava to create more lava, not only to prevent griefing but prevent massive deadly accidents.
