You're not alone;
I hate the Enderman, too easy to aggravate and too destructive.
I hate the swamps, vines are alright but biome seems useless.
I'm alright with strongholds, but I dislike the villages and will hate them even more when the TESTIFICATE people arrive in 1.9.
I hate sprinting, the aspect is cool but double-tapping W is annoying and buggy.
I hate hunger, it makes Survival too difficult and Creative too easy.
I already hate the potions, idea is too complicated for Minecraft's simple environment.
MY IDEA:
Notch adds new portal that sends you to some fantasy land, with mystical swamps, potions and dragons.
Endermen are easy as forget to keep away. If you see one, get uphill and pour water down on it. DERP.
Swamps are an easy way to get wood, and if you really hate it that much just get three wood to make a workbench + boat, then find your way down the river. How could anyone hate villages? They randomly spawn, and don't inconvenience you in anyway. In fact, they are good if you are wandering and need a place for the night. Testificates are ugly, but the skin can be modified, or you can kill their face.
I would have to agree with sprinting. It was a habit of mine to tap w repeatedly while digging a 1 deep hole for any reason.
Hunger shouldn't be a problem unless you spawn in an endless desert. Otherwise pigs will spawn near anywhere, not to mention chicken and cows now give meat. Potions are actually pretty simple. There are 14 recipes. 7 use different ingridients and water potions. Then you can use a potion you get from that for the other set. For example, if you cook a nether wart with a water bottle, then use blaze powder, you will get a Potion of Strength. It's not really complicated at all.
