Oh god okay, last night, it was 1am, I felt like going to sleep, but then I wanted to get my true ending.
so I watched Rebellion.

Bad idea. Not the movie, but rather my body.

OKAY TIME FOR THE ACTUAL REVIEW.

Review: This movie can be summed up in 2 kinds of ways, a good way, and a confusing way. Let me break it down. The movie is good because it made the whole aspect feel like everything was going well in the other side of the universe. In the end though, when Homura messed with the universe and created a whole new world, the only one who knew about it was Sayuka, who thought that homura was a madman. In the end though, Homura gives up the red ribbon Madoka gave her in the other universe, telling her that this universe is perfect the way it is, which pretty much gave me an actual true ending.  Here is where the confusing part comes in though, and it is mostly in the end. What I gathered from the info, at the end of the Homura witch battle, Madoka then returns to the current universe, where homura is still unconscious and attempts to make homura happy again. Homura however, is now in an evil-witch like mode, which explains why her soul gem starts to go insanely out of control. So out of control that when she grabs madoka and tells her that she won't let go, it starts to mess with the timeline and universe overall, creating and re-doing the whole process to make a whole new universe, where everyone still knows each other, but didn't know what had happened. This is for everyone but Sayuka. Mami and Kyouko also sort of know this, but they don't know exactly what had happened. Sayuka then explains to homura how she had messed up with the whole entire universe, just so that she could attempt to save Madoka. When madoka goes into the new class however, she is known as the transfer student who lived in America for 3 years and just now last week, has moved back into japan. Homura then takes her on a walk during a different scene, and it all seems strange, up until Madoka realizes that she is really supposed to be doing something else (AKA changing the universe). Homura tells her to not remember what her real job is supposed to be, and tells her that she is fine the way she is, while giving her back the red ribbon she gave to her in the last universe (the one where the TV series took place). After that, everything goes into some sort of happy setting, up until the post credits. During this, Homura, with her new dark soul gem, feels that she did the right choice, decides to gaze upon what she did while kyyubey was there. After this, she walks off a cliff, where the movie pretty much ends. So did Homura re-write the universe, and made it so that nothing went wrong, then at the end, killed herself, despite everything she did? If that's how it was supposed to be, then I can sort of understand why she would do that, because she had a dark soul gem. I still got my true ending though, which is what I just wanted.

Aside from the confusion and the effects my body now have, this movie was great. Not as fantastic as the TV series, but still great. I got my true ending and while it did have a confusing story line, it still made me satisfied in the end.

Incase anyone didn't know, there is also a new project based on Madoka Magica, which I am pretty hype for because this movie and TV series made this anime fantastic.
