Author Topic: Obama Leaves God Out of Thanksgiving Address  (Read 6397 times)

Dude, quit being tribal.  And yes, that IS tribal.  I don't care if Thanksgiving doesnt have much to do with God.  Which actually it does because the first pilgrims had a fast on that day in honor to the gods and now we use it today to stuff ourselves but seriously.

It's not tribal and it's true.

God had nothing to do with thanksgiving, the Native Americans did.

What is there to laugh about? For all you know Obama was right to leave it out.

And the religion stuff-fest begins once more

and you're handicapped
So I'm handicapped for agreeing with someone? Oh excuse me, I forgot that you can't have an opinion here. My bad.

There are multiple translations you know.
Each can be interpreted in different ways.

and every one of them was written to be taken literally.

you think ancient people wrote important historical info down as poetry and riddles? forget no. they meant what they said

Like the crusades.

the whole "interpretation" and "translation" excuses are just modern churches trying to change the old creed to be more compatible to modern law and society. you can ask for money from your followers till the end of time if you can keep changing the word of god whenever you want.
its all to be taken 100% literal, no matter what version you are reading

Obama is a handicap.

I honestly don't get what you're trying to take a stab at here.

Are you implying creationists all have a physical/mental disability?
And is he implying someone who isn't a creationist someone who has a physical/mental disability?
