this is really good yeah

Ya know, it wasn't as bad as I expected. The lyrics didn't sound like someone was singing with a dying breath, and the piano reminded me of Birthday Cake a tad towards the middle of the song :P

I'd give it an 8/10 overall.

i think the main synth is overpowering everything else, and the percussion needs to be stronger.

That's totally what I thought too, except the percussion. I'll fix it up now.

the synth is alright, it's just that the drums are waaaaay too quiet

like, if the song were a band and the channels were instruments, it sounds like the drums are being played a distance away from the other instruments

They were at max so I lowered everything else.

if your drums were at max (i couldn't help but chuckle at that) it's likely that your synths need EQing/compression
