I think it just finds the dominant color on the album and uses that as the background color.

nope.

iTunes 11 can currently read, write and convert between MP3, AIFF, WAV, MPEG-4, AAC and Apple Lossless (.m4a)

still a terrible media player.

i only use itunes to sync stuff to my iphone, i would never use it as a music player lol

You don't need super expensive earbuds to notice a change between 320kb/s and lossless.

i used to have those, then i got munitios

still not really worth it imo.  I only listen to FLAC with my AKGs

I use these when I'm out, and some of these when I'm at home. I'm not audiophile, but I hate to not have my audiotechnicas with me.
