Just completed my pokedex in Blue virtual console, took ~50 hours and I used the mew glitch for versions exclusives and gift pokemon.

Users of the Pokémon GO beta have been giving details about the current state of the app, which are subject to change:

• Trainers can be customized
• No starter Pokémon
• Stats are Attack, Defense, "Individual Defense" and "Pokémon Defense"
• 232 attacks are programmed so far (137 moves are normal attacks while 97 moves are "faster" attacks of the original 137 moves)
• You're able to join a team (Red, Blue, or Green)
• Wild Pokémon are directly caught, not battled
• Google Cardboard is referenced
• The game size is 47.97 MB on Android
• Items included are Pokéball, Great Ball, Ultra Ball, Master Ball, Potion, Super Potion, Hyper Potion, Max Potion, Max Revive, X Attack, X Defense, "X Miracle X", Razz Berry, Bluk Berry, Nanab Berry, Wepear Berry, Pinap Berry and Special Camera
• Pokémon have natures that differ from the main games: Stoic, Assassin, Guardian, Raider, Protector, Sentry and Champion
• There is a day/night cycle
• Trainers have ranks (Novice, Trainer, Leader, and Professor)
• Shiny Pokémon are coded (1 in 8192)
• Pokémon are classified as either normal, legendary, or mythical
• No mega stones
