i want to visit a cave and get a geodude

Additional information regarding the Pokémon GO beta:

Gyms
  • Gyms are owned by a particular team (Red/Blue/Yellow, unless they haven't been claimed) and players are asked to join one after a certain level
  • Other people get to see your gym membership profile at gyms, and you can see theirs
  • Gyms have a system similar to daycare where you can leave a Pokémon and have them gain experience and "gym points"
  • Gyms can level up with "prestige"
  • During a "gym invasion", the Gym Leader is in charge of "the order in which Pokémon are sent into battle"

Battles
  • Based on time and rounds
  • Pokémon have two stats: HP and Energy
  • Fighting a gym requires you to battle your way up the chain to the leader
  • Battle options are attack, dodge, item, and surrender
  • Using an attack or dodging requires energy, after which you need to recharge (uh oh)
  • Attacks can be charged with more energy to be more powerful
  • At the end of the battle, the number of Pokémon you defeat affects the prestige of the gym and experience
  • Gym leaders can select which attack types and Pokémon are used against challengers
  • Other players cannot be battled directly

Trading
  • All trades are done via internet
  • Trades can be done with players in a certain radius or at a gym
  • A search function lets you know of any players willing to trade nearby

Pokéstop
  • Gifts of items, EXP, eggs, and "gems"
  • Takes time before you can visit again

April's Mythical Pokémon is Jirachi, and it's now available via Mystery Gift in X/Y/OR/AS and lasts until the 24th

the hype for go just keeps getting stronger

You know, I'm still shocked about the Zygarde forms.
Like, seriously.

We all know about the forms by now I think.

And we all know that Zygarde is bigger than the player (like 70% of the legendaires are.)
But Zygarde 50%?

Can't wait to see Complete.

hate to be the bearer of bad news but it actually gets 2 feet shorter at 100%

Pokemon heights/weights have never made sense.

Pokemon heights/weights have never made sense.
Yea, like.. Wtf?

Also, Zygarde is possibly one of the biggest Pokemon in the anime. or really, anywhere.
Oh, and the Hoopa movie is an good way to see the different sizes of legandaries if you don't want to go look up their heights in the pokedex.

While this month was set to be the beginning of Sun and Moon coverage in CoroCoro, that seems to have taken the form of obscured boxart

The section of the magazine about the upcoming movie also confirms that Magearna is Steel/Fairy

Next month promises to have more information about Sun and Moon, a so-called "huge scoop"

I can see the word "pokemon" on the bottom of the boxes :0

those are the japanese logos

the same ones that are above the boxes

now that I look at it, you're right

I can definitely see where you're coming from though, the first part of the Sun logo looks like a blurry "Pok"
