From the initial blurry pictures from the magazine I thought it looked a bit ugly.

Then seeing the full body drawing of it I liked it more, but it felt a bit off. Something about the tail.

But then seeing the images of it in battle, I think it looks great. The tail looks better in those images, somehow.


I look forward to whatever role it may play in Pokemon X and Y and in the movie.

I'm going to replay Red Rescue as soon as I finish Gates to Infinity. According to what I've heard, right now I'm about halfway through it. I've next week off, so if you need any help in some ridiculous dungeon, I'll probably be able to lend you a hand!

Gates to Infinity has nothing on the previous entries to the series. Most of what I've played in Gates to Infinity has been grinding. It's starting to pick up - I'm six hours in and have just recruited Umbreon and Espeon - but I don't see another Ninetails Legend (which blew my 10-year-old mind) or Grovyle and his partner (which blew my slightly older mind) plot-twist coming up. I hope I'm wrong. Oh well. Maybe they'll save the series with another brilliant entry. Who knows?

Decided to start a Nuzlocke on Blue while watching Werster do a Gold speedrun. Running with Bulbasaur, Rattata, Pidgey, and NidoranF at the moment, just got a crit and KOd the Metapod that would've been my Viridian Forest Pokemon. I was pissed that I was going to have to switch it out until it evolved but I'm even more pissed that I missed out on a future Butterfree.
