You could also have given it to someone who doesn't have money to spend on games just to break them when they don't like them.

I'm having a tough time putting together a team, I have some badass choices.

Snorlax, Clefable, Scyther, Gyarados, Vaporeon, Arcanine, Dugtrio, Nidoqueen, Nidoking, Hitmonlee, Venusaur, Dodrio, and Exxegutor are my options.

You guys have opinions on any of these?

Scyther, Gyarados, Arcanine, Nidoking, Hitmonlee, and Venusaur are the ones I would use.

I'm already using Arcanine and Venusaur, so there's that.

Hitmonlee... I'm just not too fond of fighting-only types.

Nidoking, I prefer Nidoqueen. I like the increased survivability.

Gyarados, I simply hate using what everyone else uses and Gyarados is too simple.

Scyther is too flimsy and don't feel like training it. It's lvl 23, and I need at least lvl 38 fighters. Arcanine just hit 30, I'm having a tough enough time training him.

Hitmonlee has very good moves over the course of its entire life, and I believe good defense ... haven't played in a long time.

Nidoking is a manly Pokemon. BAM.

It's defense is actually pretty low.

It does get a couple good moves, and even has some when you first acquire it. King just doesn't have the HP and Defense to suit me. Gyarados IMO is a water/flying (that can't use fly) trying to be a dragon type.

Scyther does look badass, and has good moves, but he'll be eated alive vs Elite Four. Poor typing.

Almost all my lvl 100s are steel-type and the ones that aren't steel aren't particularly good.
