On the subject of corocoro, why use it? Isn't it better to play the game blind with no prior knowledge than to know every single new addition to the game? What's the fun in a game if you already know everything?

learning about new mega evolutions =/= learning about the whole game, did you know that [spoiler for Pokemon X and Y]AZ was immortal, and that Lysandre had a Mega Gyarados[/spoiler] before playing X or Y? Chances are, no. If Corocoro told the whole story of upcoming games, no one (or mostly no one) would read them.

The magazine doesn't reveal the story, just new Pokemon and mechanics

How much someone wants to know about the game differs from person to person and if anyone wants to keep their knowledge to a minimum then it's simply a matter of avoiding congregations of Pokemon fans

That sounds insane. You can get one with drizzle, mega evolve and now it has 2x speed due to swift swim.
