So are Alola forms basically mega evolutions
Well it wouldn't make sense for Vulpix AND Ninetails to have megas, would it? I'm thinking that they're considered new pokemon because they have new typing which also means new moves but they're considered old pokemon because they already exist? Bah it's a bit hard for me to explain

doubtful

I would assume that Alola forms are just the way certain Pokémon appear when you encounter them in the wild in Alola

exeggutor's loving alola form is DRAGON TYPE?
ALIFHASBN GJH bsnhakuifjrhm nszkjulend fsrdghmbvl,

lol it's a palm tree, idk how that relates to dragons

ya this

think like how shellos' appearance is location-based, but throw in a different type (and subsequently a different moveset)

Oh neat. Thank you for explaining it.

so i'm trying to catch every pokemon in each pokemon game

Leaks of this month's issue of CoroCoro have revealed more new Pokémon to us:

First up is the fish Yowashi, a Water-type which has a Single Form and School Form

Next the possessed sandcastle Sunabaa and its evolution Shirodesuna, both of which are Ground/Ghost

Bewear's pre-evolved form Nuikoguma remains Normal/Fighting-type

Alolan Meowth is a special Dark-type breed from the royal family of Alola, and Alolan Marowak adapted to predators in Alola and became Fire/Ghost-type

The final page reveals Team Skull and their leader Guzma (the one with the strange glasses), and another member named Plumeri (pink hair)

CoroCoro promises a poster of Rockruff's "secret evolution" next month

alolan marowak looks sweet, im really excited for this game

the antagonist team (team skull) was also revealed

why are they focusing on gen 1 type changes only.

there are pokemon from other gens that would greatly benefit from an alola form.

an additional image of CoroCoro has surfaced:

The notable part being this small creature Namakobushi, which is said to ""send its insides out from its mouth and use as a fist"

it's a spiked star fish and you can't convince me otherwise
