Avalonia's population reaches 1 million. The 1 millionth person to become a citizen of Avalonia is a "barbarian" who was until recently living near Hessia. When the volcano erupted, his family fled, but was slowed down by his elderly parrents. After all of this time, he finally reached avalonia. Congratulations to him, and to the Great Nation of Avalonia.
Military continues to grow, both in number and in skill. Not too much to tell about that. ARms production continues, blah blah blah, yadda yadda.
The second son of Avalonia's ruler, Harran, was lost at sea. On a trip to Isla Vae by invitation of Aemilius, the young man's ship encountered a great storm, and the ship has not been seen since. The nation goes into mourning for its beloved royal member.
The sickness affecting Avalonia's oxen has abated, and food production continues. Several iron mines have closed, as the veins that they tapped (finally) ran out of suitable ore to be taken. Land prospectors are demanding that the Avalonian government take control of the lands north of Avalonia, completely encircle it with a wall (as Avalonia as a whole already enjoys the benefits of), and allow companies to mine for iron in those areas. The Supremme Leader, Hamon, is giving it great consideration. Note: Avalonia already uses this territory to obtain several resources, such as food and lumber.
