A violent counter-attack took place consisting of TTG mercs and Aloisian troops. Aloisian cavalry charged the Empires forces from the left flank and crippled them. The mercs and swordsmen came soon after attacking the right flank putting a large dent in the forces. Aloisian and TTG forces have lost a little less than half of the men.

At night the EE arrive, to survey the damage, and camp secretly in a forest 5 miles away.  They settle in for the night.

Strategic note:  For 5 years starting at age 12, these warriors were trained in the forest with no outside contact to survive for themselves.  To attack them there is hopeless.  They are strong of heart, will and mind.  They will not back down and fight for their honor to the death.
