I'm surprised you haven't gone red already...  If anything, Erinaum has the more moderate government.  It sounds like your country is close to Totalitarian.

The masses are not capable of ruling themselves. Socialism always deteriorates into communism, or populism which is worse (Greece being a prime example). I wouldn't prefer to live in a totalitarian government, but I'd say that they provide stability and peace if the masses are kept busy and happy, which they will be hard put to be if not properly commanded. If you give a man enough rope, he'll hand himself. I may seem totalitarian, but I'd think Avalonian citizens have more and greater freedoms than the people of the USSR (real life or Anagean), for starters the fact that the government only interferes in the capitalist economy on matters affecting the longevity and fertility of citizens, and that they vote in the first citizen (who holds 10% or so of the governmental power and 3.25% or so of the budget) to determine civil services they get for cheap.

I won't say my system doesn't have it's iron fisted parts, but I will say that if that wouldn't provide stability (which is the whole purpose of establishing a government, to provide peace and security for the people to grow in), what can short of divine intervention?

Either way, I get worked up if I talk politics so long. So, I'm going to move on before I go into conniptions or something to that effect.

But really. I want to play again and my country is in op. :c What should I do existing players? Also, if I start playing again can someone pm pretty much all the stuff i need to know that we do now.
Ask nicely for your land back (from me, I kinda took it over). Then I make the Mtlogica Romagnans pay about 2 trillion, half in gold and up to a quarter in wheat (all over 100 years, averaging out to 20 billion a year), rest in money. The price is because I've owned the land for a while, and because I pour money, resources, and manpower into new Avalonian territories (which yours was) and upkeep them at high standards and technological improvements and efficiency. (I must add that Caprica had it a lot worse when it left Erinaum's control, and you don't have it any worse than Aemilius did, Caprica has/had a 100 *cough million couch* year plan in which it was under Erinaum's thumb and constant control and supervision).

The masses are not capable of ruling themselves.  Erinaum has a primarily Representative government, but a Socialist Economy.

Ok. We shall pay for it over the course of 20 years. We don't have the money right now but when we earn it we shall pay you back.

In other news, new workers for romana have started a mine to collect resources to sell.

Whatever you say Swat.

100 years, not 20. 20 would be riddiculous. Consider yourself a free and modern nation with heavy capitalist influence.

oh ok good cause we were planning a revolution to not pay back. ANYWAYS we are researching the possibilty of a Laws of war type of thing. If you would like to partcipate say I.

Laws of war like "You can't carpet bomb civilian targets." or "We should determine the victor of a battle by..."? Personally I like being able to use full force on an enemy, and it makes it more fun if they can too. We do need a standard way of waging war though, RPing it out just means that whoever hackles the other side the most (Swat) wins.

Lunar landers and kozmonaut engineers create a research lab on the surface of the ice moon.  The kozmonauts can sustain themselves in the lab for as many as 3 years.  Research teams have found that the frozen-over oceans contain aquatic life.  There are large sources of algae and fish-like creatures.  A particular fish-like species was found to be somewhat intelligent, much like dolphins.  Over 100 species have been identified under the ice.

True, but so are most the people you can theoretically go to war with right now. Either way, what I said wasn't meant as criticism toward you, but as a statement of facts, that we still lack the means to wage war in a fair way accounting for factors such as tactics, technology, numbers, production rates, &c. There is still no way that we have to create a war machine that we can put into practice in war. It all boils down to hackling your opponent down to the lowest point it's reasonable (as he sees it) to go.

Swat, have I got a deal for you (and everyone else as well).
Avalonia is willing to sell part of the lava moon. Equal land trade, however much land you want up there, you give that much to Avalonia at the current Avalonian-(Insert your country here) border, not one long strip, a full territory. One time offer, price is non-negotiable.

Does a lunar embassy count?  All I require is maybe 5 arces.  I just want communications to be able to be sent and received at some place

Minimal purchase of one full territory, equal exchange, keep in mind I just lost a sizable hunk of land, and I'd prefer to replace it without violating the non expansion pact. A couple acres isn't really worth my time trading over. I'm particularly hoping to get that bit of land above the silver mines.

Should you choose to accept, you'll have adequate time to relocate any resources, people, military installments, &c. you may have in the territory.

Swat, unless you want me to start writing in Igrom, which'll be a pain, please write in English.

You are part of RS.  You can have any technology available to RS, namely that you participate collectively with RS in its further development.

Swat, unless you want me to start writing in Igrom, which'll be a pain, please write in English.
Ems:  My answer is no.  This is final.
