Should I consider secondary developers?

No, retain the purity. One man, one mod, ein reich!
Yes.

well, it looks fine to me. I'm fine with the current weapons.

the shotgun is cool but the pistol and smg are

really rigid looking

and the ak47 / dragonuv(?) look like if you ran out of bullets you could just drop them on someone and they'd probably die

the handcuffs are neat (didn't i make those?) and the baton is pretty great but the gas mask feels like it dropped into the blocko uncanny valley

I like the gas mask. My only complaint is that it should have blacked out eyes. Monty designed it after his own gas mask.

why does monty own a gas mask

Because he studied how to make a bomb that could be released from a van and have the potency to burn the eyes, mouth, nose, esophagus, and lungs causing the death of everyone in something like a 100 meter radius of the explosion, plus some if wind favored that direction.

Those without a gas mask, that is...

I guess I'll be getting a gas mask soon.

That reminds me, Car bombs.  You should (IMHO) have them, even if they're hard to come bye and illegal to sell.

only more reason to be wary of people with vans and gas masks

also IEDs sound like they could be cool. blow up lots? out of spite?

maybe they would be sort of easy to spot and emit some sort of beeping, allowing people to call the police or something, but is harder to detect if there are walls between it and you

I'd like to steer a little bit away from crime for awhile and add activities that are legal, productive, and fun.

Blowing stuff up is great but if it happens all the time it's a CityDM.

Destroying stuff is always more fun when it takes more time to build, anyways. ;D

ogm maek an nukezorz so u cna blow upt teh city!!

i feel like there should be a job that makes money by 'expanding' the city. you know, putting up facades, squelching empty lots, etc

maybe there could be something like a 'franchiser' or 'real estate-er' that makes more money per-tick with each lot he owns (with some regard to the quality of the lot), and gets a bonus given by the city for each lot he sells but can't sell lots for above a specific, mandated amount (set by the mayor?) to keep him from just monopolizing the lot trade

The land economy is only useful in restricted cities, where land isn't always available. If the city becomes restricted in the future, players will simply jack up the prices in the real estate, judging themselves how much lots should be worth.

no scripts are necessary

are we still using backwards curses for cities or what
