I think fists are worse.

Also +4 monsters I just farm because they drop so many rares so often, I usually come back with a full inventory and just give them away.

Edit: Also going to start hosting a server, 4 player limit as well as a different seed than default. It's going to be up as long as I can keep it up (hopefully weeks.)

Great server, thanks for putting it up.

Wollay must have died.

Can someone test this?

Thanks

Have some rogue things for trade, hoping to trade for ranger things or rings/amulet

Edit : Nevermind a friend can use them
Edit2 : Still have this available for trade

Also looking to trade this for a equivalent or near equivalent boomerang

Great server, thanks for putting it up.

No problem, the server's constantly full which is neat.

Edit: I also plan to post that banner on every page that I post on in this topic if the page doesn't currently have that banner because it's irritating for me at least to have to look pages back in hopes of finding the server ip.

(For example if this post was about something else, I'd respond to it, and then just quote my server) Unless people have a problem with it, then I'll stop.

How do you guys end up leveling so quickly?

How do you guys end up leveling so quickly?

Missions, I just hit level 100. Missions give a ton of exp to everyone on the server (usually 5+ levels early on and 2 later)

Holla holla get dolla, the store page is up, I'll be joining you guys!

Any tips?

Red names means you will probably die, it's difficult to get started in the game. Orange early on also means you'll probably die, I would suggest killing all the passive mobs you see in the beginning. Other than that nope.

Some Red Named enemies are alright to fight, depending on your class.

Insect Guards are frequently Red Named at low levels, but they're pretty easy to fight as the Fire Mage if you have the Blast ability, which means you'd need to be level 6 minimum.

Basically, shoot at them with M1, and run backwards from them. When they come close dodge out of their attacks.
Use your Blast ability, and it won't knock them down but they will fly upwards into the air to get away.
Use that opportunity to hit them with M1. If you get a special hit and your M2 becomes available instantly, then use it for a powerful attack without slowing down.

Rinse and repeat, and you can get +10XP for each kill.
This also works for most flying melee enemies, like Bats.

A number of Red Level enemies can be taken out with good dodging, running and ranged attacks.
It's probably a lot harder as a melee character.
Having a pet is also helpful, because as you walk away they can usually get a few hits in, and if they die, they respawn pretty quickly.

I'd just suggest avoiding certain types of enemies.
Ranged Red Enemies can destroy you pretty easily, even with dodging. That's things like Snouth Beetles.
And some enemies are just very quick and easily hit hard. That's things like Skull Bulls.

Missions? I thought quest aint in yet.

Missions aren't exactly quests, they're marked by crossed swords on your map and everyone gets exp for killing it.

Oh, well, I tried killing a boss but I barely do any damage, and he's blue.

That's pretty much the case with bosses for your level, even if they are blue.
Even White bosses have a lot of health.

Try getting a better weapon, or upgrading it. Or come up with a new tactic. Stunning abilities are your friend against bosses, and it's best to time them to stop their power attacks or summoning of other enemies.

Or even getting a pet. And if the enemy isn't killing you, you just need to take the time and persist.
Bosses go a lot quicker on multiplayer simply because there's lots of people fighting them.
Even then they can still be too difficult.

Alrighty, thanks
I'm going to start a new character as a mage, Any tips for a mage?

Don't bother with your M2 attack as a Fire Mage with a Wand.

Only use it when your M1 attack unlocks your insta-attack. You'll know that when it plays a sound and your character is wrapped in fire.

When this happens, your next M2 attack is instant and costs 0 Mana.
Which is great, because it has the chance of knocking enemies over.

I also completely forgot to explain that you need a Wand for the fire-ball attacks as a Mage.
A Staff will summon a fire/water tornado.
A wand shoots a ball of fire, and it's M2 is a chain of large fire-balls.
I'm not entirely sure what Bracelets do.

Also, don't stand still for long.
