Red names means you will probably die, it's difficult to get started in the game. Orange early on also means you'll probably die, I would suggest killing all the passive mobs you see in the beginning. Other than that nope.
Some Red Named enemies are alright to fight, depending on your class.
Insect Guards are frequently Red Named at low levels, but they're pretty easy to fight as the Fire Mage if you have the Blast ability, which means you'd need to be level 6 minimum.
Basically, shoot at them with M1, and run backwards from them. When they come close dodge out of their attacks.
Use your Blast ability, and it won't knock them down but they will fly upwards into the air to get away.
Use that opportunity to hit them with M1. If you get a special hit and your M2 becomes available instantly, then use it for a powerful attack without slowing down.
Rinse and repeat, and you can get +10XP for each kill.
This also works for most flying melee enemies, like Bats.
A number of Red Level enemies can be taken out with good dodging, running and ranged attacks.
It's probably a lot harder as a melee character.
Having a pet is also helpful, because as you walk away they can usually get a few hits in, and if they die, they respawn pretty quickly.
I'd just suggest avoiding certain types of enemies.
Ranged Red Enemies can destroy you pretty easily, even with dodging. That's things like Snouth Beetles.
And some enemies are just very quick and easily hit hard. That's things like Skull Bulls.
