Mark the village so that you can return to it, then head back.

You mark the village into your IMS so that you can get back to it later, and then start making your way back.

After about an hour of walking, you arrive at the lab. It doesn't look like the others are here yet, so you sit down against the outer wall on the lab to rest.

That village, you think, is probably abandoned. They might've been killed off by that Kkryonitte stuff, or that mech. Speaking of mech, it's odd that you haven't seen it around lately. You assumed it would be hell-bent on murdering all of you.

You don't have to wait long for Lia to come bounding through the woods, doing all sorts of cheerful flips before sitting on a low tree branch. Navaro arrives a few minutes later, working on getting leaves and petals out of his hair.

"Where's Reynolds?" Navaro asks, suddenly realizing his absence.

"I don't know," you reply, shrugging. "Let's give him a few minutes, or would you rather give him a call now?"

>Markus: Decide to just wait until he either arrives or makes a call.

"I guess we could just wait," Navaro replies, leaning against a tree.

Lia seems to be occupied with fiddling with something, but she's clearly still eying Navaro's scarf.

After a few more silent minutes, Stojanow shows up. "What took you?" Lia asks, giggling.

"Nothing, just couldn't quite find my way back," he replies.

You stand up. "Well, where should we head now? I think I saw a small village over in the desert."

VILLAGE
also see what Bot thinks about the situation

The rest of the group agrees, and you all set out for the village. Along the way, you decide to talk to Bot:

>VILLAGE?
>YOU SHOULD SEE IF THEY HAVE A CANDY SHOP.
>I LIKE CANDY.
>CAN YOU GET ME SOME CANDY? (:
>
>You can't even eat.
>
>
>CAN TOO.

The sun looks like it's getting low when you arrive at the village. You might want to find a place to stay before you start exploring.

What now?

>See if there's ANYTHING remotely close to resembling an inn in the village

Well, there's a small two-story building that might be suitable. There are some beds and couches scattered around. You take watch while everyone else rests.

It's pretty dark out now. What will you do?

>See if there's anything eyegrabbing around

There's really not much ar-

You hold your breath as you hear heavy footsteps close by. An eerie silence falls as the mech passes by the window. It stops for a moment, probably looking for you, before it moves on. You don't dare move at all.

Clearly this place isn't too safe. What now?

>Continue not moving, breathe very silently, else you're likely dead.

You remain still and silent for the rest of the night, not even daring to wake up someone to take over watch.

It is now morning and you hope the mech is long gone. Where to?

>Tell everyone you saw the mech again, then explore the village

"Well, I saw that mech again," you state plainly, still a bit shaken up. Before setting out into the village, you can hear Lia excitedly talking about Navaro's scarf.

"Can I borrow your scarf?" you hear her ask cheerfully.

"You'd have to take it from my grasp," he replies irritably.

"Oh, ya-"

"My cold, dead grasp."

You can tell it's all Stojanow can do to not burst out laughing.

After a bit of walking around, you've found a wide variety of small stores, several houses, and a town hall. They all seem eerily abandoned and left to ruin.

"Oh, it's almost like a western movie! I'd look perfect wearing a scarf here!" you hear Lia exclaim. "Can I have your scarf now?"

"Why the hell do you need my goddamn scarf? There's a mech trying to kill us and all you're worried about is my scarf," Navaro nearly yells.

After an awkward silence, Lia pipes up again. "Does she want your scarf, too?"

"Oh, shut up before I stab you."

"You two are getting along perfectly," you say jokingly. "Which building should we check out first?"

"I'd like to see what's in all these stores," Stojanow suggests helpfully.

Where to?

look in stores then go to village and find a basement for a base of operations.
