gmod locks up when I start a server

I think it's time for a reinstall anyway, i have nearly 100 addons and its like 30 gb

If you guys are having the problem were as soon as your about to spawn your gmod crashes, start the map on singleplayer then join a server.

also I think the tornado needs to blend in with the clouds at the top, it'll look better, also has anyone seen monkeyjoebla's tornado map.. I think he gave up on it :(

the tornadoes arent spawning when i press the button in that room :(

~~edit: i think theres addons conflicting, i reinstalled gmod completely and it works~~

EDIT: on 1/23/12 there was an EF3 tornado to go over the birmingham area which is where I live (alabama), and 1 block away BUSINESSES ARE FLATTENED. there's a hole in my roof that my dad fixed and we just replaced a rear car window. I heard the tornado get near my house while I was in the basement, I almost had to get new underwear :(

I'm not alone in Alabama? Holy crap.

Uh yeah. Just take the materials, models, sounds, maps, etc. folders that come with the download and put them in the filepath you are talking about. Merge the folders, and all the stuff from the download will be in the game.
