So how come all the kids in my school's social/learning disability program all are in non-honors classes and still have lower grades than the kids who are in honors/AP courses?
Social disability =/= Learning disability.
People with learning disabilities tend to be less intelligent than "normal" people. Since you can not tell the difference between a social disability and a learning disability I'm going to assume you already have a learning disability.
People with with social disabilities don't see a need to do work. Grades do not interpret how smart are you. I know some incredibly dumb people with high GPA's. They only have good grades because they can copy down what ever the teacher says incredibly fast. They are memorizing, not learning.
Autistic people, as I said, are born with more sensory input. Heightened sense of smell, hearing, etc. this means you will need a more viable brain to process this large amount of information. This is why autistic people tend to take off their shirts or clothing, they find the texture of the clothes to be over-stimulating. To them, wearing a shirt is like being tickled for hours. They also can't socialize, so many of them do focus on school work. The one's who don't must have a different disorder, not autism, because autistic people find school work fun. They find repetitive behavior stimulating, if this repetitive behavior breaks they will throw fits or for an adult they will become disgruntled.
I hope you understand now, sorry for over doing it, but I thought you should know the difference... Even if you were trolling.
