Attention all AoB members & aspiring members:
First of all, I'd like to apologize for my continuing lapse in being in-game. The exam times have come around for me, so I've been abnormally occupied with studying and whatnot. I am happy to say however, that this is the last week of this climax, so starting this weekend I'll be able to be on longer and more regularly. And I still have my ambitious plans for the clan.
Second of all, I have revised and carefully reconsidered my approach to judging applications. Anybody who has previously applied and failed but still wishes to get in, I invite you to try again. Doubtless some of you have been improving your skills, and it is never too late to have another go. So again, whether you are trying for the first time or retrying after one or more failed attempts, you are always invited to have another go at it.
Third, I intend to take a new approach to hosting. I will be switching projects on a more rigid weekly basis between the HQ and projects (and perhaps a few of my own projects for show once in a while), and they will all have areas provided for building apps, so if you want to get an app done in one go, I'd recommend you start it early in the week.
And on that note, those of you who had an app I have not hosted in a while, please PM me and let me know, and if I have it, I will transport it over to the main server for you to complete. Quite a number of them showed potential.
Last but not least, I will be putting a temporary hiatus on the current HQ project, which includes a surface building, an "underground headquarters base", and a catacombs area of mine. It is still quite intact and almost completely up-to-date, and it has a lot of valuable apps, so I will still be hosting that from time to time. We will eventually complete it as a project, but as a headquarters, I have run into a few problems with the idea of having parts of a build at the edge of the slate, including that of some of the ghosting bricks rendering in the wrong place closer to the edge.
