The New Australian Commissioner of Military holds a press conference, while the Head General of the New Australian Military and two General First Classes flank him.

"We are not responsible for the Nervaztski ambush. We have no troops stationed on that continent, and do not plan on it. This message goes out to those Nervaztski men on the ground - did you see any of our insignias?" He pauses, reading over a report just handed to him. "It appears it may have been our troops.. in a form. Some Aleyskan and New Australian terrorists attacked a military armory just two weeks ago. They took many weapons and combat uniforms. We apologize for any harm, and compensate the families with 1,000,000 New Australian credits."

The last of the LOABs pull out of Aleyska, but infantry remains in HUC-controlled territory.

1,500,000 of the 8,000,000 New Australian Infantry is deployed to Aleyska and begins a mass assault on speculated military compounds and cities. Civilians are not being targeted. LOABs return, and three Eversors are on standby. The New Australian Air Force deposits 500,000 of its best men to fly combat missions and reconnaissance. The New Australian Navy sends all of its fleets other than the Homestar Fleet to provide naval support. The New Australian National Guard is armed and deployed to all cities, bases, town, villages, airports and other large places of interest. Early alert systems are tested, and all SAMs, interceptors and AA batteries go online and are manned. SWAT units are set to patrol around towns, and are armed with military grade weapons and armor, while the standard police is given the SWAT teams' gear. Civilians are being picked and volunteering for town militias, which are supplied and funded by the New Australian Home Defense Bureau.
