Are you handicapped? This isn't about removing religion, its about separating Religion from State.
I believe that is called a secular state? I support that idea.
America is overly religious IMO. Its ingrained in the culture and history. Now that is fine, but when you have Christian politicians getting votes because of his / her belief, while also implying hostility to other religions (as we've seen this campaign with a certain someone) that is just iffy.
Its not really my place to say though since I don't live there, but there should be a neutral stance to be fair to everyone. Its like when you take an oath you can do the religious version or the non-religious version (at least you can here anyway). One religion shouldn't contaminate everything in a country in today's world.
