i dont believe or disbelieve in any sort of religious deities, but despite my brain believing that after death there is only oblivion, i've never been able to shake my faint belief in some sort of wheel of life reincarnation sort of deal

I think it's just that this is what you WANT to believe, so your mind sticks to it.
Personally, I'd like to think there's life after death, but obviously we don't know.

Don't even bother trying to psychobrown townyze me.

Christians, while arguing, pretend like their religion is the only one. However, there are hundreds of other beliefs in imaginary, all-powerful being that we can't see. Some are about one god, some are about numerous gods, some are about space aliens. But what do they share?
Atheism isnt a religion.

Atheism isnt a religion.
Actually, Religion is anything that takes faith to believe in.

Atheism takes faith to believe that nothing from nothing created something and everything in perfect order.

ALOT of faith might I add. That being said, it is technically a religion.

The definition of religion is "The belief in and worship of a superhuman controlling power, esp. a personal God or gods."

Actually, Religion is anything that takes faith to believe in.

ah i see
well then, my religion is 2+2=5

"if atheism is a religion then not playing baseball is a sport"
I myself wouldn't consider it a religion

The definition of religion is "The belief in and worship of a superhuman controlling power, esp. a personal God or gods."
Which is wrong, that only covers theistic religions. Buddhists don't worship a superhuman/god figure, but it's still a nontheistic religion

Saying Atheism is a Religion is like saying Health is a disease.
Atheism is the lack of a religion, so, you are wrong.

Faith is believing something that doesn't have evidence to support it.
I'm guessing to are referring the the big bang and evolution. Both have a large amount of evidence to support them.
Also, the big bang theory does not attempt to explain the origins of the universe, only the development of it
