That's the thing. The human definition of 'fine' is VERY different from the dog definition of 'fine'. The thing probably has mental trauma from all the publicity. While a lot of people would probably stand by you on that, I honestly think that dogs are capable of thought and emotion. Not sure if you've ever owned a dog, but of you have, and you had a good relationship with it, you'd understand what I mean.
