Do not add hunger. Do not artifically lengthen gameplay. Do not let stupid mechanics destroy good rps.
What will hunger add to the game that improves the RP? Nothing, thats what. It just distracts it.

I shouldn't need to force people to roleplay, I never do. That's why the Bluzone has the Key Quest.
I only force people to be respectful.
Even if your character is a complete twat, just keep in mind that people are still trying to have fun.
There's a difference between interesting and forceful.
I won't implement hunger, I will however implement energy drinks/coffee. That way, it's not taking anything away or introducing new concepts, simply giving the player more control.
I want this to be atmospheric, not realistic. I still want it to feel like a video game, I don't want to simulate real life.

Which sucks because I'm at places Saturday and Sunday, and Monday-Friday is all school days = no PC. So assuming the server is even up next Saturday, I won't be able to even attempt to get on for another 8 days.
