I think Bluzone is straying too far away from a Zombie RP and turning into a Sci-Fi RP. I'll be honest, I was kind of disappointed when I saw there were Mutalids; but the reaaon they are there does make sense and has to do with the zombies. Still, it's a bit odd.
I feel the exact same way. I think the zombies should be set to slow, but do damage extremely fast, so that players would actually be scared of getting close to them. We could outrun them, but if we're surrounded we're done. This would just make them more of a threat, and therefore more important to the RP. Also if guns were less common...
Anyway, we just need to have more horde events, we don't need these super-worms or bombings to keep it fun. The horde events should be bigger though; maybe at times all of the zombies on the map, concentrated into one area. Also the hordes should go to places other than the survivor base.

Other ideas for fun events that wouldn't be so silly
-food shortage (would cause chaos and betrayal)
-bandit attack (where bandits are played by trusted players and admins)
-untrustworthy newcomer(s) come and take over (a 'rebellion' would eventually start)
-a squad of aggressive soldiers investigate the area
-a group of prisoners (some psychopathic) arrive (once one dies they all attack)

I agree with you on all points but this.

Adding the food variable will begin to ruin the RP. People are going to start getting tired of always having to gather food to stay alive.

This was discussed way early in the thread. The answer to such request was "no."

If you are thinking of just RP-food and not real food, than that's fine. I just don't want a loving food gauge on me.

Maybe zombies should be buffed. They are insignificant to the story at this point. Almost every playerkill is by a survivor or the apache or a mutalid. The reason is people see zombies as a slight nuisance. Guns are too easy to get and a melee weapon is basically the best thing you can use. Not to mention, syringes are super common. I have four suggestions. They are interchangable.
1. Add longer respawn times to the weapons. If someone is seen camping the unspawned weapon we tell them to move on.
2. Make zombies harder to kill. They have somewhat bad AI right now and one melee hit is all it takes to kill them. Maybe we should make headshots lethal and the rest much much harder to do.
3. Increase the zombie spawn rate, do more "omg a horde is coming" stuff when something loud happens. (e.g apache flys over the survivor camp, holyfuq zambies D:)
4. Scatter the weapons more, add the heavy stuff (machine guns/snipers/shotguns) in hard to reach places as a reward for enduring fighting so many zombies on the way to said weapons. Perhaps you could put the RPG behind a long canyon, in which dying is permadeath. It'd keep people who normally just orbit around rp activity like moths on a light busy. It'd add some more depth to the rp.

I like four. It may be a lot of work though.

Zombies should be buffed, and the horde increased, but should never be as fast as us survivors.

Yeah. I've noticed alot of melee-campers. They look so dumb. The damage output should be less.

Adding a larger variety of weapons will increase roleplay; different people with different guns add more randomness of strengths and weaknesses.

I personally dislike four, as that would basically be "forcing it" and the zombies don't take breaks for you to RP something significant. I think 3 is a more viable solution.

I was on a zombie RP once where we spawned with no weapons, the zombies were slow, and there were barely any weapons on the map. Walking the streets after I spawned was so cool. I would turn a corner and a few zombies would turn and look at me and start walking toward me and I had to go the other way. I don't quite know why but those moments when we didn't have weapons and we saw a swarm of slow zombies coming at us were just so much fun. The point is, less weapons is fun, and it would prevent RDMing and random violence. I think a lot of the current weapons should just be replaced with little handguns.
Regarding melee... I don't quite get why hitting a zombie with a frying pan kills it in one hit, but you have to shoot it several times when using bullets. A while back I said gun damage should be increased. Now I realize that gun damage should stay the same, but melee damage should be decreased a lot. There should be a lot of melee weapons, but they shouldn't do much damage.

2. Make zombies harder to kill. They have somewhat bad AI right now and one melee hit is all it takes to kill them. Maybe we should make headshots lethal and the rest much much harder to do. Audax set the zombies to hard, 2hits melee and almost instakill, I mean it was like really fast health loss.

PK over zombie death is not an appealing thought, making zombies harder and PK would just ruin it for me, I'v work to develop Marley and I'd rather kill him when I want or Do something crazy like taking on Mutalid 1 on 1. Less heavy weapons is what I would like to see, more shotguns and semi rifles, less automatics. Its a little more realistic.

In all honesty, the mass of zombies should be increased. The wild territory is only dangerous if you want to get to that roadblock. Maybe add zombies near the crane and somewhere else?

Regarding weapons, I think automatic weapons should be at hidden places. Otherwise, I think the spawns are ok.

A few autos here and there is cool, just more shotguns and semi rifles is more real  and better

What we need, are Binoculars and an Add-on that Disables Zoom.
