Author Topic: Religious thing this gay kid from my school posted  (Read 15806 times)

I was fed up when he mentioned evolution. Of course no one has seen evolution, it doesn't happen overnight.

ITT: People think Rave witnessed this dialog when it was actually posted by a religious kid and is supposedly between Einstein and a Professor.

i believe that i ought to put my bets on god, then, if it turns out i'm wrong, i'm dead, nothing more too it
but if i'm right, and god does exist, then i will have followed him and well
you know where that goes

God doesn't exist because I'm atheist.

WHAT THE forget.

except for there IS evolution

Darkness and cold do not exist by literal scientific definition.
But I know that darkness is a lack of light for my eyes to recieve and cold is a lack of heat on my skin and body.
It can't be an exact thing because people can have completely different interpretations of it. I can think a room is cold while another person finds it just right. It's a personal perception upon a stimuli.

When atoms vibrate faster they tend to become hotter, it's not perception, it's giving off energy.

You basically just damned yourself to hell with that logic anyway.

I believe because of everything I've seen and how I was raised. I'm not going to judge anyone for they're beliefs. I have had friends who are Atheist, Satanist, Christian, Catholic, Anything but Jewish :P

Einstien didn't do this.  Still an okay argument though.

When atoms vibrate faster they tend to become hotter
Atoms don't vibrate, they move until they collide or are acted upon by a force. And they don't tend to become hotter, their motion is heat.

You're not supposed to love something out of fear.

If God is truly a benevolent God then he won't send you to hell for having doubts. In fact, this is the problem I have with the idea of heaven. How could you possible be happy in a place when billions of people are burning in torment. I could not. And if God makes me be happy then that is an interference with my free will.

The Atoms friction between one another causes heat.

Like I said put simply the kid in this made up pro religion conversation has the severely flawed logic that everything that cannot be proven 100% without a doubt has an equal chance of actually being true. Boogey men and evolution and santa clause and god and the easter bunny are all equally viable in his mind.
